I took this opportunity to come back to UK for a short while to set up a new cancer centre in WRH, a rarity in the NHS as most cancer centres are well established. I worked closely with the management, nurses and pharmacists till the new team came into place. I helped optimise the chemotherapy protocols, day care utilisation, cancer pathways, acute oncology, and setting up a new MOSAIQ chemotherapy prescribing system. The centre will go through peer review in the near future.
