I joined Guys and St Thomas’ as consultant medical oncologist within the breast, GI and Lung unit. I also did a breast cancer clinic once a week at Kings college Hospital. This helped me develop crucial ties with both the institutions.
I was closely involved in the teaching of specialist registrars and senior house officers.
